A smiling woman with blonde hair sitting on a grey armchair in a bright room with natural light. There is a tall potted plant on a wooden side table next to her, and sheer curtains tied back on a balcony door in the background.

Hi there, I’m Emily.

One of my greatest passions is creating safe spaces where others can take a deep breath and receive gentle care.

I grew up in Colorado and feel most settled when I’m outside in the sunshine. My husband and daughters are my sweetest gifts. A few of my favorite things include going for walks, playing the violin, throwing pottery, binging Netflix, Vincent van Gogh, discovering new music, celebrating other’s birthdays, and deep conversation over Sweet Bloom coffee.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and EMDR trained. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including university, group practice, non-profit, and now private practice.

People who have worked with me describe me as safe, persistently kind, encouraging, diligent, and dependable.
